‘Chang Chia’. The Leading Chinese Game. In flat, almost square box. 

Box (219x178x27mm) is American. Made of cardboard pasted with maroon, textured paper printed with gold. Inside is a big compartment for the tiles and a smaller one for counters, dice, wind indicators and eight (except for one) still unfolded cardboard racks.

Tiles (25x33x3mm) are made of cardboard one sided pasted with paper printed in 3 colors with characters and images. The White Dragon is a blue square with reversed dragon and text.

Dice (2x) are made of bone with Western points.

There are no counters and wind discs.

Instruction manual is a belonging booklet with on the cover the same image as on the box. Published by the maker of the set, Pinkney Merchandise Company.
