Large and low box featuring the Pe-Ling-logo and characters.

Box (290x192x56mm) is most likely of Western origin. It a rather crudely executed, low model of sizable proportions. The lid features, in gold, the sparrow and the two Chinese characters of the Pe-Ling brand. Inside there is a bigger compartment for the tiles and four smaller ones for counters etc.

Tiles (20x23x12mm) are Chinese. They made from an average quality, very thin bone combined with much thicker bamboo. The engraving is standard. There are four spare tiles.

The set lacks counters, dice, wind indicators and an instruction manual.
