Low box with bright green characters.

Box (166x273x46mm) is of Chinese origin. It is made of outspoken orange brown, lacquered wood. In the sliding lid four bright green characters are carved.

Tiles (17x24x11mm) are Chinese. They are small and made from nice and clean but very thin bone and much thicker bamboo. The engraving is good. Four of the eight seasons feature the, for this kind of set, usual mandarin, vase, cock and caterpillar. The other four show Chinese musicians. There are four jokers but no spare tiles. Totaling of 148 tiles.

There belong no counters, dice, wind indicators and an instruction manual to the set.
